THE CLEVELAND SUN
An art installation focusing on ephemeral quality and transformation of sun light in its urban scale. Reflectors set around the city of Cleveland transmit and accumulate light, directing it toward the gallery space. The skylight in the gallery will be the funneling point for all the reflected lights, acting as a massive light collector. The reflectors installed on the roof and the mirrored skylight fracture the light, accelerating the movement of the sun and translating it into a mesmerizing spatial experience.
